I should start by saying that wedding favours are not an absolute must. However, most couples like to show a personal token of appreciation to each guest, particularly if there are a large number of guests, and therefore the possibility that the couple won’t get the chance to speak to each of their guests personally. This is where a small wedding favour can step in. If the budget allows, think of favours that fit the style and theme of your wedding.
Wedding favours do not require a huge chunk of your budget. Whether it’s something you buy or create, guests will appreciate the thought. Favours can be edible or non-edible. And remember, it can be a nice gesture to send a favour to those who are unable to attend.
Presentation of your favours depends on your personal preference. If you are having a sit down wedding breakfast, most couples choose to place the favour next to the place setting – either at the top or at the side. If you are having a champagne and cake reception, or an afternoon tea reception, you will need to think through the logistics of handing out your wedding favours.
It might be cost effective & a great time saver to combine the favour with the place name, and this is where we can help!
Choose your wedding wrapper from our pre-designed range, or send us your own design to be placed on the wrapper. You can choose to have your names & your wedding date on the front of the wrapper with a message on the back. Alternatively the chocolate bars can double up as place names. For place names all you need to do is attach your guest list with your on-line order and we will do the rest. No need to hand write all the place cards, or pay extra to have them done. Easy!
Our customised chocolate bars can also be used as save the date reminders, small gifts at engagement parties, invitations for hen weekends, or even as thank you ‘notes’ with a photo of the bride and groom on their special day.
If personalising your wedding favours with your colour theme or scheme sounds ideal, or if you like one of our other chocolate ideas, please give us a call.
Good luck with planning the best day of your life!
